Living in harmony with the land – that’s what Terravita is all about. The name “Terravita” is a combination of two Latin words: “terra” meaning earth or land and “vita” meaning life. This 24-hour guard-gated Scottsdale community offers 22 neighborhoods with single-story homes ranging from 1407 to 3730 square feet. Most of the homes back to the golf course or to open space, and many have views of Black Mountain or Lone Mountain.  The visual impact of the homes and other buildings are minimized, due to the use of materials that harmonize with the natural desert surroundings.

Terravita’s private 18-hole golf course was designed by Greg Nash and Billy Casper and showcases the spectacular high Sonoran desert setting. You can hone your skills at the two-way driving range as well as the chipping and putting greens. Visit the pro shop, which is located in The Clubhouse, for everything from golf equipment and accessories to golf apparel. Golf Club membership is an option you can choose to get the most benefit out of living in Terravita.

Residents are automatically given a social membership in the Country Club. This includes use of the lap or lagoon-style pools, the tennis courts (there are 6), and the state-of-the-art exercise equipment at the Fitness center. The Fitness Center also offers massages, steam showers and a dry sauna.

The private Clubhouse is an elegant 35,000 square foot space that has outdoor terraces that provide views of fabulous sunsets. The Sunset Dining Room offers an upscale dining experience and The Grille offers casually elegant cuisine. Both restaurants offer lunch, dinner, and Sunday Brunch. The dining facility also offers poolside service, in season.

There are 7 miles of walking trails in the Terravita Trail System, which links all of the neighborhoods and the Clubhouse. If you want to observe Sonoran desert plants, the Nature Trail is a two-mile loop within the trail system.

Terravita has everything you need close at hand. There is a shopping center with a grocery store, bank, pharmacy, and other retail service establishments nearby. To enjoy the wonderful, harmonious Terravita lifestyle, start your search for homes for sale in Scottsdale Mountain.
