Janet currently oversees the REO transactions of the Matheson Team. Janet joined the Matheson Team as a licensed Realtor after a successful career in banking and finance. She spent much of that career at Fannie Mae in Washington DC, where she held a variety of finance positions including Senior Vice President of Financial Planning. She and her family relocated to Scottsdale when she accepted a position as Chief Financial Officer for Home Equity Operations at Wells Fargo Bank. During her tenure at Wells Fargo, she served on the Board of Directors of RELS, a provider of credit, appraisal, and title services to the lending industry.
Janet loves the Arizona lifestyle and left the banking business to pursue her passion for real estate. She is very positive about the long-term outlook for the housing market in the Scottsdale area and loves to help people find their dream homes. Her finance and business experience contributes to her ability to guide homeowners through the sometimes challenging process of buying, selling and financing their homes. She prides herself on developing relationships with her clients, not simply completing transactions. Janet and her family live in North Scottsdale and are avid golfers, love to travel, and are active in their community. Janet is a volunteer at and member of the PTA at their local high school. Janet attended Michigan State University, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University, an MBA from Drexel University, and is a CPA. She earned the CDPE designation in 2009.
